Youth With A Mission (a.k.a. YWAM) is a non-profit organization founded by Loren Cunningham back in 1960. Currently we have over 1000 operating locations in 149 countries. YWAM is interdenominational and embraces men and women of all ages from all walks of life. Though YWAM as an organization focuses primarily on evangelism, training, and mercy ministries, each location will have a unique campus culture and area of specialization.

YWAM Programs

YWAM offers hundreds of programs, each called a separate "school." The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is the prerequisite to all other YWAM schools and is required to become full time staff with YWAM. Schools offered range from the School of Worship to the School of Onscreen Acting.
