Our Campus PDF Print

The Northwoods Campus is nestled back in the picturesque woods of northern Wisconsin. It is a very unique campus. We focus on sending teams to the least reached places on earth. For the past 4 years we've sent outreach teams to a small village in northern Thailand that has only had electricity for 15 years or so. We currently offer two different YWAM schools: the Discipleship Training School (DTS) every fall and the School of Biblical Foundations (SBF) every spring. The two schools are deliberately put back to back with a 2-3 week break in between because we have designed our curriculum so that each of the two schools complements the other. They are designed to function as two halves of a program rather than as two separate schools. However, students who have done their DTS in another location are also encouraged to attend the spring SBF.

Campus Life

There are many wonderful things available to students and staff of YWAM Northwoods. In the summer and spring the volleyball court and basketball court are open for use. The campus sits on the edge of Potato Lake which offers canoeing in the summer and ice skating in the winter months, and is known locally as one of the best fishing lakes in Wisconsin. The campus sits on a 160 acre plot of land and features several hiking trails.
